Richard Evans CDG has been casting since 1989, since working on a wide variety of productions in every media.   For the 10 years prior to this, he was an actor himself and therefore writes AUDITIONS: A PRACTICAL GUIDE from knowledge and and experiences amassed on both sides of the audition table.   He is a member of The Casting Directors' Guild of Great Britain.

In addition, he has devised and presented audition and career development workshops at the Actors Centre, London; the Northern Actors' Centre, Manchester, and at many top drama and theatre schools, as well as writing 'A Casting Director's Perspective' for The Actors' Yearbook 2005.
